What I love most about a Spring/Summer wardrobe is that I get to wear dresses. No pants, no tights – so comfortable. I just love bare legs. Mind you along with the comfort of bare legs comes shaving……. but it’s worth it. Especially when your hair is blond because you can totally get away with skipping a few days (at least I think no one notices).
I am sharing a few of my favourite Spring/Summer dresses from Zara and The Bay. I love shopping online at both these stores because shipping is free (if you spend over $50) and returns are simple.
1. Bold Floral Print
A good floral print is a must in a Spring wardrobe. For me, florals are an instant pick me up. I love this one from Zara and its less than $50. This would also look great with a leather belt instead of the self tie that the dress comes with.

2. Linen Maxi Dress
This striped linen maxi is from Zara and with a long sleeve it’s a great piece for those cooler Spring days. It’s not easy finding cute long sleeve dresses.

3. White Strappy Maxi Dress
This dress is such an easy and flattering shape. And can we talk about the bow detail on the back ♥
It’s currently out of stock but you can always go to the site and ask them to email you when your size is restocked. I am awaiting for my email – fingers crossed because I NEED this dress. This will be my go to on hot summer days and for cooler nights it will look great with a denim jacket.

4. Polo Collar T-shirt Dress
Gingham? Yes please. That’s all I have to say. Oh and its only $50 at The Bay.

5. Shirt Dress
A shirt dress is a staple in my wardrobe. Of course you can wear a shirt dress alone as intended. But a shirt dress can also double as a tunic with a slim pair of distressed jeans. And you can even wear it unbuttoned as an extra layer over a pair of denim cutoffs.
BTW – if you are feeling your shirt dress is a tad short, add a pair of denim shorts underneath for some extra coverage just in case.
This pink one is from Zara (one of my fav stores if you couldn’t tell) and is only $50.

This linen shirt dress is from The Bay. And you can always replace the self tie belt with a leather one to add a little more interest to the dress. It’s a little more pricey but still under $100. Olive green is such a versatile colour – it looks great with neutrals and also with pops of colour. I love olive green with yellow or pink. And the green looks great in the fall too.
