I don’t usually get excited about bags to be honest. Or at least I haven’t in a few years. I think it’s because I got too caught up in being all practical – needing a bag to fit EVERYTHING I might possible need for myself and my kid. But this Spring there are just way too many cute bags to be practical.
All of a sudden I find myself obsessed with bags. Mini cross body, straw totes, geometric shapes, bright colours, pom poms, Love them all. However, they aren’t going to fit everything I may, or may not, need in a day. But I have decided that’s okay. I can stash a diaper bag in the car just in case and carry a super cute bag for myself.
Here are a few of my favourite bags right now. And as always they are pretty affordable, most of them are less than $50.
Mini Crossbody Bags
I love the colour and shapes of these bags and who doesn’t love a lightweight bag. Sure they are small and you can’t fit alot in them but I mean we only ever use 5% of what is in our purse anyways…..
The green is my favourite. Green is such a great neutral because it goes with pretty much everything except a bright red – unless its Christmas of course.

The Straw Bag
And then there is the straw bag. Yes they are everywhere but thats because they are so perfect for the summer. I love these for casual weekend looks.
The bag with all the pom poms and the multi colour strap is the only one that’s a little more pricey at $100 but its from Nordstrom so hopefully it will go on sale. The other two are under $50.

Half Moon Bag
This take on the straw bag is a little more structured and so it works with a more dressed up look. LOVE the handle on the black bag. It is on back order at Zara right now but if you click through to the zara site you you can select an option to have them email you as soon as it is restocked. But you have to order as soon as you get the email. The back order items sell out so fast,m even after they are restocked.
